Celebrated American pianist, band leader/composer and son of musical legend Eddie Duchin, Peter Duchin first received acclaim in 1962 with his band in The Maisonette at the Saint Regis Hotel, performing both contemporary rock and selections from the great American song book. In 1964 he was the musical coordinator for President Lyndon Johnson’s inauguration and later that of Jimmy Carter’s. He has recorded 22 albums and over the years, has played over 2000 dates all over the world raising countless millions for numerous charities. In 1997, he wrote a best selling memoir, Ghost of a Chance, followed by two detective novels.
